Mortality
All living die, all dead regenerate and provide the basis of new life.
As a child most of us are fortunate not to experience death, and that preserves our innocence. Two things that preserve a child’s innocence are lack of exposure to mortality and separation. I was a very sentimental kid, innocent, but aware. Aware of far more than what we credit children to be capable of. Among us fortunate ones, we have have grown in the same home and neighborhoods, with the same parents and siblings, and none departed for long. The unfortunate thing about this stasis is the child grows in the belief that every thing will be fine in future just as today’s stasis – developing an uncomfortable comfort zone.
It is my hope that this is the slowest developing journal I have.
